What to Bring:

Expect 27°C daytime maximum temperatures in the shade with on average 9 hours of sunshine per day in Montreal in July. It can be humid and feel hotter than the actual temperature.

July is peak summer, and summer is peak Montreal – outdoor terraces, festivals, live music – a true joie de vivre. In a place where it's winter for a solid half of the year, the fun goes into overdrive in the warm months.

Light layers and an umbrella are recommended.

About Montreal

Montreal is an impressive, eclectic city that combines European culture with a North American way of life. Old Montreal, with its 17th-century buildings, contrasts the somehow futuristic Underground City, and shows how Montreal is so rich in culture and history.
