There are a few general guidelines to follow:

• The covering of shoulders and knees applies to both men and women.  Nothing see-through, or exposed cleavage in public.
• When you’re out and about, especially in summer, make sure you are protected from the sun. SPF 40 or above recommended, perhaps a hat and sunglasses too.
• Indoors can be heavily airconditioned, pack a wrap or light sweater.
• Swimwear is fine while at the beach and pool, but not appropriate in areas such as business districts and shopping malls.
• Women should cover their hair when visiting a mosque and everyone should cover their arms and legs before entering a place of worship.
