About Port de Sóller, Mallorca

Mallorca in July is peak tourist season. Close to the venue and in the whole of Sóller it can be very tricky finding parking, so having a car is not recommended unless your accommodation has parking.  If you are not staying at the venue, driving to class is also not recommended, parking is in short supply this time of year.

For getting around renting a moped or bicycle is recommended!
Rent mopeds at Bullimoto Port Sóller or Viento Scooters Sóller
Rent bicycles at  Tramuntana Tours  or at Bike the Way

Sóller is famous for it's beautiful Tramuntana mountains & many travel here for the excellent hiking and biking. There are many great trails for all levels of hikers in the area, do keep in mind that July is hot so if you want to explore the mountains early morning or late evening is probably best.

In Port de Sóller you can find all types of fun activities such as boat excursions, diving or just hanging on the beach.

In the town of Sóller you'll find great cafés, shopping, historic squares, and the Modernist art museum Can Prunera.

A historic wooden tram connects Sóller town and Port de Sóller on a scenic 15-minute route through orange groves, the tram goes every 30 minutes and costs around €10 one way.

Just a 20 minute drive along the coast you have the beautiful little village of Deia. And a 20 minute drive up the mountain you can visit charming Fornalutx.
If you want to visit Palma, the islands biggest town, you can take the “Tren de Sóller” — a historic narrow-gauge railway that’s been operating since 1912. It’s famous for its vintage wooden carriages and scenic route through the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, making it a popular and picturesque way to travel. The trip takes about 1 hour from Sóller to Palma.
