Susan Stanczyk

Susan Stanczyk
Susan is a Reiki Master with over 27 years of experience, a Certified Access Bars Practitioner, 2023; and the owner and operator of Synergic Healing Reiki, Collaborative Intentional Healing, founded in 2010. Since 2024, she has also served as a volunteer and lead practitioner with the Oasis for Healing Program at Yale New Haven Hospital/Bridgeport Hospital.

A lifelong Connecticut resident, Susan is a wife, mother of two grown children, and empathic lightworker who brings grounded, compassionate guidance to each client’s healing journey. After a 15-year career in the legal field and years devoted to raising her family, Susan awakened to her life’s work through the study and practice of Reiki, which has become an integral part of her daily life through self-Reiki, meditation, grounding exercises, and intentional practices.

Through Reiki, Access Consciousness, and compassionate spiritual mentorship, Susan supports clients as they heal, transform, and reconnect with their own inner wisdom.  Her work helps clients become still, so that they can ask themselves questions about their belief systems, points of view, and why they have certain preconceived judgments about things and how one can be released of past programming.  Once the awareness has been realized, you are open to greater possibilities without judgments.

My clients have expressed an improved outlook on their lives after running their Bars.  Releasing limiting thoughts, feelings and emotions opens you up to receive changes in all areas of your life.

Since 2024, Susan has volunteered weekly as a master-level Reiki practitioner lead and mentor at Yale New Haven Hospital/Bridgeport Hospital through their Oasis for Healing volunteer program, offering complementary Reiki sessions to patients, family members, nurses, physicians, and hospital staff.  In an environment where healing is often measured through tests, medications, and procedures, her work focuses on something equally important; restoring a sense of calm, balance, and hope.

Susan's volunteer service also marked an important chapter in Bridgeport Hospital's Reiki Program. After the volunteer program was suspended during the Covid-19 pandemic, it remained inactive until 2024.  Believing deeply in the value Reiki brings to patients and caregivers, Susan expressed an interest in seeing the program return and enthusiastically encouraged its revival.  When Bridgeport Hospital resumed the program, she became one of its first Reiki volunteers, helping reintroduce this unique service throughout the hospital.

Initially, Susan focused primarily on patients and their families.  However, she soon realized that many nurses, physicians, and other hospital staff were unfamiliar with with Reiki and its potential benefits.  She adopted a unique approach by offering sessions to staff members as well as patients.  In doing so, she not only helped educate healthcare professionals about Reiki, but also provided them with much-needed moments of calm, stress relief and restoration during demanding shifts.
