HOW IT BEGAN
The movement was born from the international best-selling bookBeing You, Changing the Worldby Dr. Dain Heer, a globally renowned author, speaker, and co-creator of Access Consciousness.
What started as a deeply personal journey of transformation for Dain – after nearly ending his life – became a lifeline for millions around the world seeking hope, change, and the freedom to be themselves.
From that book, a ripple effect began.
Over the years, the message of Being You has expanded into classes, events in 176+ countries, and now a global awareness day recognized by people from all walks of life.
OUR MISSION FOR THE BEING YOU DAY
To empower all of us to know that our dreams of what is possible are way more valuable than fitting in.
To invite everyone to embrace their unique capacities and get away from comparison and judgment as deciding factors for happiness.
To inspire all of us to use lightness, joy, and laughter as their guide to who they can choose to be, instead of all the should-and-should-nots of our age, race, cultures, and families.
