Barcelona El Prat Josep Tarradellas Airport (BCN) is located 12 km (7.5 mi) southwest of the city, between the municipalities of El Prat de Llobregat, Viladecans and Sant Boi.

The airport has recently been renamed and receives its current name in homage to a Catalan politician, although it is still commonly known as Barcelona-El Prat Airport.

 

 

There are a few options for getting from Barcelona Airport to the venue.

The currency is Euro's €.

In March, weather can be changeable. Barcelona generally has moderate temperatures and moderate rainfall. Anticipate daytime temperatures around 16°C (61℉), while night temperatures can drop to 9°C (48℉).

What to Bring:

  • rain is possible in March, check the forecast and bring an umbrella (or light waterproof jacket, hat & boots if you prefer)

  • packing layers are always a great idea. Bring a light jacket or wrap for evening, also bring to class for body temperature fluctuations
  • comfortable walking shoes to explore the sights, or shop

  • sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat for sunny days outdoors

  • refillable water bottle for the many fountains

  • Barcelona uses a Type C European plug, so bring a travel adapter if that isn't your usual current.
