Unlocking Your Energetic Awareness – Article

Rediscovering Your True Potential Beyond Thoughts and Feelings

When asked recently about an article that was written for the Wellbeing Magazine about UK Access Certified Facilitator Moira Bramley and her reasons for writing it. Moira had the following to say:
“When I was a kid, I could feel this deep sense of emptiness in my family. My parents were distant; they weren’t energetically there, but the neighbours’ dog, who visited me, was. My dad was an alcoholic, and my mom was constantly dealing with PTSD, which made our house heavy with misery all the time. I sensed their belief that they had no value, and by the time I was three, I was starting to identify with that energy as me too. I knew I was more present and aware than our community, but when I started school, I began believing that everyone else's lack of presence was actually my lack of presence. I disappeared to myself in the sea of energy—I was not taught to value myself as an entity of energy that had the right not to fit in. I wrote this article for those who perceive something in their life is amiss and isn't working as they sensed it could when they were kids. It’s for those who know there’s more to life than what meets the eye and recognise that their current reality falls short of their childhood dreams. They wonder what happened to the possibilities.”

By courtesy of the Wellbeing Magazine, we can offer you here the beginning of the article:

Do you feel weird?

Do you ever feel like you’re just another cog in the machine of reality? Do you ever feel like you are numbing a part of who you are just to fit in? Yeah, that’s not just you.
From a young age, we build opinions and take on fixed points of view from the world. During childhood, our possibilities were truly endless, but then we were exposed to the “real world” education and the rat race. Our imagination, creativity, and awareness were tainted and molded by this programming.
We were pushed to understand and align with our families and communities, all while feeling pressured to adopt beliefs to define ourselves. The constant pressure to adapt to this reality keeps us from becoming who we truly are.
These and other experiences have us functioning in our daily lives from our thoughts and feelings, rather than the energetic awareness from which we would operate as children. This energetic awareness still lives in all of us but has been suppressed and replaced by logical thoughts and feelings.
